** Carolina Mudcats Transactions **

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced one additional transaction affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats ahead of their series opener Saturday night at Mississippi.  

LHP Adam Brandenburg has been sent back to the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League.   The move leaves the Mudcats with an active roster of 22, one shy of the Southern League maximum.

IF Lee Mitchell has been activated from the disabled list, while IF Frank Moore has been placed on the D.L. with a right forearm strain.  Moore' move is retroactive to July 27th.
