** Carolina Mudcats Transactions **

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made a series of transactions affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats effective before Sunday's homestand finale against the Tennessee Smokies.  

LHP Adam Bostick has been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque, while OF JC Muniz has been moved from High-A Jupiter to Carolina.  

Additionally, OF BJ Garbe announced his retirement after last night's 9-4 loss to the Smokies.  Garbe doubled in his final at-bat and completed his career with a .235 average and 37 professional home runs.  Garbe was Minnesota's first round pick in 1999 from Moses Lake High School in Washington, and was signed by the Marlins in December, 2005 as a free agent.
