2008 marks my 4th season as the Mudcats PA announcer and I look forward to introducing this year’s crop of players.  Hosting the Southern League All-Star Game will add to the fun and excitement at Five County Stadium this year.

During the college baseball season, I’ve handled the play-by play announcing duties for 31 of NC State’s 56 game regular season schedule.  This is my 3rd year in that role following 5 seasons as the team’s PA man.  Last July, between Mudcats homestands, I broadcast 6 games for the Lancaster, PA Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League.  I also served as the PA announcer for the two North Carolina High School Athletic Association Baseball Championship Series played at Five County Stadium.

I previously worked in Minor League Baseball from 1975 through 1980 as a play-by-play broadcaster for the Oneonta Yankees, Rochester Red Wings, and Durham Bulls.  My wife Lois and I reside in Durham.
