I-540 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

On Tuesday, January 16, 2007, Muddy the Mudcat was the first fish to take a ride along the new stretch of I-540.  The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony took place along the new stretch of I-540 that runs from the Triangle Town Center intersection to the US-64 Knightdale Bypass.  The new stretch will allow baseball fans to have an easier trip to Five County Stadium, Home of the Carolina Mudcats.  Muddy enjoyed meeting with government officials as well as fooling around with the construction workers who worked very hard to complete this new stretch of I-540.  If you would like Muddy at your next event please contact the Carolina Mudcats at (919) 269-2287.
