Anibal Sanchez and Taylor Tankersley Shine in the Big Show

Anibal Sanchez went straight up to the Marlins on June 26, 2006 and hasn't
looked back. In his Major League debut Sanchez shut-out the New York Yankees in
Yankee Stadium. Since then Sanchez has consistently dominated with a record
of 4-0 and an era of 3.00. In his most recent start Sanchez allowed the
Braves just 7 hits and 1 run over seven innings. Sanchez has set the
Marlins rookie record for scoreless innings with 23.
Taylor Tankersley has also played a
crucial role in the Marlins' Bullpen. The lefty has struck out 20 batters
and allowed just 9 hits and 4 runs in 15.2 innings pitched. Tankersley's 1.72 era is among
the lowest in the Marlin's pitching staff.
