** Carolina Mudcats Transaction **

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced two player transactions affecting Double-A Carolina of the Southern League ahead of this afternoon's game in Chattanooga.  

OF Angel Molina has been activated from the disabled list, while OF JC Muniz has been reassigned to the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League.  Molina was placed on the disabled list on June 12 with a left wrist injury and is hitting .238 with three homers and 19 RBI in 57 games.  

Muniz, who began the season on the disabled list, opened his 2006 campaign in Jupiter and was sent to Carolina on May 21st.  Muniz hit .215 with three homers and seven RBI in 24 games.  

The Mudcats roster remains at 22 players, one shy of the Southern League maximum.  Carolina's road trip continues this afternoon with the middle game of a five-game set against first-half champion Chattanooga at 12:15 PM ET.
