** Carolina Mudcats Transaction **

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made three transactions affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats before the Mudcats' series opener Sunday afternoon at Jacksonville.  

Pitchers Kevin Cave and Ben Julianel have been placed on the seven-day DL.  Cave's move is retroactive to May 6, suffering from right shoulder tendonitis.  Julianel is afflicted by a left bicep strain.   Manny Olivera has been reassigned to Carolina from High-A Jupiter.  

The Mudcats roster is at 22 players, one short of the Southern League limit.  A revised roster is attached.
