Zebulon, NC --- Following Wednesday night's defeat by the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Florida Marlins announced a set of player moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats.  

Infielder Drew Niles has been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque effective May 12th, while infielder Michael Tucker will return to the Mudcats from High-A Jupiter and be active for Thursday's finale with Chattanooga.  

The moves keep the Mudcats with an active roster of 22 players, one short of the Southern League maximum.
