Rogers Joins Mudcats

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have assigned catcher Tanner Rogers to the Carolina Mudcats effective Saturday.  

Rogers, who comes to the Mudcats from extended spring training, was the Marlins' 8th round draft choice in 2003 from Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. 

Rogers hit .278 with 18 RBI in the Gulf Coast League last season.

  The roster addition takes the Mudcats to the Southern League limit of 23 players.
