Kensing to MLB; Sears to AAA

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced a pair of promotions affecting the Carolina Mudcats.   Right-hander Logan Kensing has been recalled by the Marlins and will report to Florida today. 

First baseman Todd Sears has been sent to Triple-A Albuquerque, and will be on the Isotopes active roster as of Thursday.  

The Mudcats, whose active roster is at 20 players, will be receiving reinforcements in the next day.  

Carolina opens a seven-game homestand Friday night with the opener of a three-game series against the Tennessee Smokies at Five County beginning at 7:15 PM ET.
