Rain Out

Zebulon, NC --- The Carolina Mudcats-West Tenn Diamond Jaxx series finale on Tuesday night at Five County Stadium has been cancelled due to rain, and will not be made up.

The Mudcats, who won the first three meetings, will travel on Wednesday for a home-and-home seven game series beginning in Jacksonville, FL on Thursday night at 7:05 PM ET at the Baseball Grounds. The Suns will host the first four games before returning to Five County on Monday.

Carolina will open play Thursday night 1 1/2 games ahead of West Tenn with 11 to play in the first half.

The game with the Diamond Jaxx will not be made up due to the two teams not meeting again before the conclusion of the first half on June 20th.

LHP Scott Olsen will start the opener of the series against Jacksonville on Thursday night, followed by RHP Yorman Bazardo, RHP Josh Johnson and LHP Luke Lockwood.
