Shanks Activated from DL; Rohleder Optioned to Jupiter

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made a pair of roster moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats prior to their series finale against the Jacksonville Suns later Sunday afternoon.  

OF James Shanks, who has been out since June 1st with a left facial fracture resulting from a pitch that hit him in the helmet, has been activated from the disabled list, while OF Andy Rohleder has been returned to the High-A Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League.   

The Mudcats remain at the Southern League limit of 23 players.
