RHP McNutt Placed on Disabled List

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have placed Carolina RHP Mike McNutt on the seven-day disabled list with right shoulder tendonitis. The move is retroactive to June 30th. 

The Mudcats roster is at 22 players, one under the Southern League limit.  

The Mudcats conclude a soggy weekend in Jacksonville tonight with a 6:05 PM ET doubleheader at the Baseball Grounds.  Carolina was rained out Thursday and Friday, and endured a 208-minute rain delay prior to losing 4-1 to the Suns on Saturday night.  

Carolina returns home for a 4th of July contest with the Chattanooga Lookouts on Monday night at 7:15 PM ET.  The gates will open at 5:30 PM.  Some general admission tickets remain available for the game and can be purchased beginning Monday morning at 8:30 AM ET by calling (919) 269-CATS (2287).
