Fuell Promoted to AAA; Overman Joins Mudcats

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made two roster moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats effective for tonight's game against Tennessee Smokies.

RHP Jerrod Fuell has been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque.  Fuell compiled a record of 4-2 and earned the win in Friday night's victory.

RHP Matt Overman has been promoted to Double-A for the first time in his career.  Overman was signed by the Marlins as an undrafted free agent after pitching collegiate baseball at Nicholls State.  Overman was 4-1 with a 4.46 ERA while pitching for the Jupiter Hammerheads in the Florida State League.

The Mudcats roster is at the Southern League limit of 23 players.
