Resop Rejoins Mudcats; Russ to Jupiter

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced two player moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats, effective Wednesday, August 31st.  

RHP Chris Resop has been reassigned to the Mudcats from the Marlins while RHP James Russ has been sent to the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League.  

The Mudcats roster remains at 24 players, the Southern League limit.
