Shanks Rejoins Mudcats; Demarco to Jupiter

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made two roster moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats effective Saturday, August 27th.  

Outfielder James Shanks has been reassigned to the Mudcats, while infielder Matt Demarco has been sent to the Jupiter Hammerheads.  

Shanks will be in uniform for Carolina's second game of its series against the Moblie BayBears.  

The Mudcats roster is currently at the Southern League limit of 24 players.
