Russ Joins Mudcats; Aguilar Placed on Temorary Inactive List

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced two player moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats of the Southern League.  

RHP James Russ will join the Mudcats roster on Sunday, and start the third game of the series against the Mobile BayBears.  Russ had spent the 2005 season with the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League.  

LHP Ray Aguilar has been placed on the temporary inactive list.  

The Mudcats roster remains at 24 players, the S.L. limit.
