Niles to AAA; Flury Lands on DL; Demarco Joins Mudcats

Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced a series of transactions affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats, effective today.

RHP Pat Flury has been placed on the disabled list with a right forearm strain, retroactive to August 10.  IF Drew Niles has been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque, and IF Matt Demarco has been promoted to Carolina from High-A Jupiter.
