Chattanooga, TN - Bobby Darula homered and drove in five runs while Edwin Encarnacion delivered his second four-hit game of the year as Chattanooga completed a three-game sweep of Carolina, 11-1 on Friday night at Bell South Park.

The Mudcats (0-3), who are 0-3 for the first time since beginning the second half of 2000 with three losses, managed only two hits, including Josh Willingham (HR, 16, 1-4, rbi, 2k) hitting a solo homer in the second inning.

Steve Kelly (W, 6-3) shackled the Mudcats over seven innings, fanning four and walking two. Aside from Willingham's solo home run, the only other hit Kelly allowed was a two-out double to Jeff Inglin (1-1, 2b, 2w) in the fourth inning.  Carolina was no-hit over the final 5 1/3 innings by Kelly and reliever Paxton Crawford.

Chattanooga (3-0) scored twice in the first inning against Peter Bauer (L, 4-5, 5ip, 9h, 5r, 5er, 1w, 5k).  Encarnacion tripled into the left field corner to score William Bergolla for a 1-0 lead.  Darula then singled softly to the opposite field to bring home Encarnacion

Leading 2-1 in the fifth, the Lookouts began to pull away.  A leadoff walk began a three-run fifth, highlighted by run-scoring singles from Encarnacaion and Darula

In the sixth, the Lookouts touched reliver Mike McNutt (ND, 0.1ip, 4h, 6r, 5er, 1w, 1k) for six runs, including a three-run homer by Darula.

Notes1B Jason Stokes who has been out of action since June 14th, will probably be lost to the Mudcats for another one to two weeks.  Stokes saw a hand specialist in Jupiter, Florida on Friday morning, who confirmed a case of cynovitis, which is a case of inflamation of the connective tissue surrounding the left wrist.  Stokes will remain in Jupiter while he rehabs, and could rejoin the Mudcats by the second week of July....  Carolina has allowed their opponent to score first in six of its last seven games...  Willingham's 16th homer tied Stokes for the club lead, and is two shy of his career high of 18, set in 2003 with three minor league clubs in the Marlins system... McNutt's appearance was his first with Carolina since May 29thMcNutt has been with Triple-A Albuquerque since then.
