Jacksonville, FL - Shane Victorino homered twice to captain the Jacksonville Suns to an 8-4 victory over the Carolina Mudcats at the Baseball Grounds Tuesday night, crippling the Mudcats hopes for a first half title.
Victorino homered to tie the game 1-1 in the third, then doused a two-run shot to right to seal the win in the eighth. Victorino has four homers in 22 at-bats since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas.

Jeff Fulchino (L, 1-2, 5ip, 6h, 5r, 5er, 2w, 7k) suffered the loss allowing five runs in five innings. Fulchino banged his first professional hit in the third inning, a solo homer against Dimas Reina (W, 1-2) staking the Mudcats to a 1-0 lead.
After the game was tied by Victorino, Fulchino allowed four two-out runs in the fifth. After a walk to Reina and an infield single by Victorino to fill the bases, Reggie Abercrombie chopped a three-run double by first baseman Pat Magness as the Suns went ahead 4-1. Willy Aybar sliced a double to left two batters later to score Abercrombie.
