Zebulon, NC - The Carolina Mudcats have announced Sunday, August 22nd as the make-up day to continue last night's rain-suspended game with the Chattanooga Lookouts.
The game will begin at 2:00 PM ET at Five County Stadium with the gates opening at 1:00 PM. The game will begin in the top of the first inning with the Mudcats as the visiting team. Monday's game was suspended three pitches into the game due to rain. The game will be played through a nine-inning conclusion, followed by a seven-inning regularly scheduled contest.
The Mudcats are hosting Monday's suspended game as a result of Carolina not returning to Bell South Park in Chattanooga during the remaining portion of the regular season.
Carolina opens a four-game series in Greenville, South Carolina against the Braves tonight at 7:15 PM ET.
