Capellan, who was consistently clocked between 94-96 mph, was handed a 4-0 lead by the fifth inning, and only yielded a two-run single to Matt Demarco (2-4, 2b, 2rbi). Demarco extended his hitting streak to a team-best 10 games with a double in the first inning.

Murphy allowed a run in the third on a two-out single by Capellan to score Jackson Melian. The Braves (15-8) knocked Murphy out in the sixth after a walk and double.
