Maryland-Based broadcastmonsters.com Inked To Provide Internet Coverage

Zebulon, NC – The Carolina Mudcats have signed an agreement with Maryland-based BroadcastMonsters to provide live webcasting of all Mudcats games during the 2004 season.

Fans need to go to the www.gomudcats.com website to find the link for the audio broadcast. Windows Media Player is required to hear the games, and a link to a free software download will be adjacent to the listen link. There will be no charge to fans wanting to listen, and the site has the ability to provide the audio to an infinite amount of simultaneous listeners. In addition, all game broadcasts will be archived for the entire season, with links being posted on the Mudcats season schedule page.

Moreover, fans will be able to email the broadcast booth to pose questions or comments during all of the games.

The defending Southern League champion Mudcats open the season in Mobile, Alabama against the BayBears on Thursday, April 8th. Carolina’s home opener is Friday, April 16th against the Birmingham Barons. For ticket information, contact the Mudcats at (919) 269-2287 or go here.
